Lead GIS Operations Analyst

The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level ranging from $85,900 to $107,375.

Job Summary

This is a hybrid or in office position, not fully remote. Demonstrates complete proficiency in the updating/maintenance of the electric and/or gas infrastructure using prescribed processes and procedures, as well as, able to perform analysis of the company’s Geographic Information System’s (GIS) data and processes. Able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of the gas and the electric systems as well as a working knowledge of engineering and construction policies and procedures. Possesses the ability to identify potential problems and developing and implementing solutions that meet or exceed customer needs. Develops and maintains geospatial data and data repository. Provides training/mentoring to Analysts within the department.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in CADD/GIS related field, or 5 years of work experience with concentration in GIS data analysis and editing, or 3 - 5 years working as an Avangrid GIS Analyst.

+ Demonstrated excellence in available CAD and GIS systems. + Able to train others in GIS topics. + Able to work independently and demonstrate complete proficiency in analyzing and implementing GIS solutions.
