Lead Financial Reporting Analyst - Houston, TX

As a Lead Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for:

- Accounting of cross-segment transactions via process called cross business schedule (CBS) involving various types of transactions such as equity and cost method investments, capital infusions, dividends distributions, acquisitions/dispositions and maintaining relevant governing policies

- Leading quarterly and year-end analysis necessary for Baker Hughes consolidated financial statement and reporting requirements

- Managing consolidated investment database ensuring accuracy and understanding of the QoQ & vOB balance drivers and summarizing those into quarterly senior leadership presentation packs.

- Coordinating with segment controllership teams as required to obtain information relevant for the financial close and related analysis.

- Working closely with the Corporate Cashflow Statement Leader to prepare the cash flow statement, adjustments and analysis assuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment to relevant GAAP literature.

- Partnering cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax and other functions as needed to support the Corporate Financial Reporting team.

- Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

- Have experience in Financial Reporting

- Have excellent communications and leadership skills.

- Be able to demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems.

- Be able to demonstrate ability to lead programs / projects.

- Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
