Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Solutions Engineer to join our Supply Chain and Procurement Technology portfolio team. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding a team of developers across full-stack technologies, including React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. The candidate will oversee end-to-end development and coordinate with business partners, the EAM platform (Maximo), cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD teams to deliver and maintain a high-quality product. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in modern web applications and DevOps practices.

Job Description What You'll Do:

- Participate in analysis sessions and support business analysts in documenting application requirements.

- Architect and develop responsive front-end applications using React.js.

- Build and maintain robust back-end services and APIs using Node.js.

- Design and manage data models and integrations with the PostgreSQL database.

- Coordinate with the cloud infrastructure team to deploy scalable and secure applications using AWS services.

- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.

- Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to ensure secure and stable communication between systems.

- Provide support for production environments, including root cause analysis, incident management, and change management procedures.

- Work with IT security teams to implement IAM and access controls.

- Ensure adherence to business continuity and disaster recovery standards and planning.

What We're Looking For:

Solution Engineer Senior (SG7): Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience:

5 years of relevant work experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Solution Engineer Principal (SG8): Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience:

7 years relevant work experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Nice-to-have: Qualifications:

- Over 7 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

- Familiarity with and experience in the Agile/Scrum framework.

- Proficient in React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud architecture and services.

- Strong experience with CI/CD (GitHub), enterprise integration toolsets, and IAM configurations.

- Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skills:

- AWS certification (Solutions Architect).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration concepts.

- Preferred experience in the utility industry.

- Understanding of ERP systems (Maximo, PeopleSoft, Oracle) and related databases.

$85,081.00-106,352.50 USD
