Lead Design Specialist – Plant Arrangement (Remote Eligible, U.S.)

Job Description Summary

Plant Arrangement is a cross-functional engineering discipline responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight of a technical team of engineers and designers responsible for the systems, structures & components design layout of the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Nuclear Island, Turbine Island and Balance of Plant into the 3D BIM Model.

Primary design focus areas for our Plant Arrangement Systems team include:

Perform conceptual design, including layouts, arrangements and construction drawings for the development and detailed design of complete systems, complex mechanisms, or assemblies. Original design activity will require full knowledge of design principles, drafting procedures and manufacturing capabilities. Provide Design, Drafting and Detailing support for the preparation of documentation for various mechanical engineering and tooling projects. The base pay range for this position is $99,000-140,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 5/9/2025.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
