Your Impact

The Lead Cybersecurity Operations (SOC) role is responsible for overseeing security operations, incident response, risk management, compliance, and vendor coordination to ensure the organization's cybersecurity posture is robust and aligned with business objectives. The role includes managing relationships with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), coordinating incident responses, developing security metrics, and leading security process improvements. The position also involves stakeholder engagement across IT and Industrial Control System (ICS), compliance, and business units.

As part of our team you will

- Manage security operations and incident response strategies.

- Oversee relationships with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to ensure Cyber integrity and maturity across IT and ICS/OT environments.

- Implement risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

- Lead forensic investigations and vulnerability assessments.

- Drive automation and process improvements for SOC efficiency.

- Collaborate across IT, legal, compliance, and business units.

Prerequisites for your success in the role

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CEH) highly preferred

- Leadership experience with SOC teams or MSSP management; strong stakeholder management

- Extensive experience in security operations, incident response, and threat management for both IT and ICS environments

- Experience working with security technologies and tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, forensic tools, Endpoint Security concepts)

- Knowledge of risk and vulnerability management frameworks and cloud security best practices

- Experience with automation and scripting tools to enhance SOC processes ((Python, PowerShell, Bash)

- Strong technical skills in SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, ArcSight, Splunk), IDS/IPS, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Strong collaboration skills across IT, legal, compliance, and business units.

- Team-building and coaching skills for SOC analysts.

- Ability to travel internationally to various sites.

- Fluency in English, with a second language (Spanish, French, Dutch) being a plus.

Working Conditions

The preferred location for this role is our headquarters in Denver, CO but qualified candidates in proximity to any of our operations or regional offices in the United States are encouraged to apply as remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $126,480-166,005. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
