The Welding Team is currently seeking a driven individual to learn laser welding in our Port Orchard, WA manufacturing facility. The Welding Team works together with other departments to build, assemble and ship products for the commercial landscape construction industry.
The Laser Welder will work directly with our new laser welding equipment, and under the direction of the Welding Team Lead to weld aluminum parts together to create finished goods. You will use metal processing equipment and tools and be involved in processing materials for custom projects from CAD drawings. You’ll work with other metal departments, including grinding, washing and powder coating. You’ll be based in our Port Orchard, WA manufacturing facility and have a hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in very way.
- Read and interpret production orders
- Inspect the quality of the material before, during, and after the various processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete required paperwork for inventory purposes
- Report defective material and faulty equipment to Production Manager immediately
- Maintain a clean work environment and abide by all plant safety regulations and work rules
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience with laser welding for aluminum
- Experience with MIG/TIG welding a plus
- Ability to read CAD drawings and measuring tape
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs, jib cranes are available in most workstations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on tenure, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Candidate must have the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, life and carry objects (up to 50lbs), and perform repetitive tasks. Other physical demands may include reaching, bending, stooping, and working in various environmental conditions like temperature variations, dust or noise levels.

The pay range for this role is:
24 - 26 USD per hour(Port Orchard, WA)
