Crew Leader Trainee - Design Build Division

Report to: Crew Leader/ Project Manager

Required Result: I am accountable for producing the following results

Being a productive member of the crew while shadowing the crew leader and gaining the knowledge and confidence to take the next step to becoming a crew leader.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•

Interact with Crew leader during pre planning, material handling, through daily tasks and during post project communication.

•

Meet with Crew leader daily to discuss the daily objectives, customer interactions, Q&A, and management tasks

•

Perform tasks on job sites as outlined by Crew Leader

•

Gain experience and comfort operating equipment, machinery and truck and trailer rigs

•

Begin to be able to work without supervision using training tools, skills and knowledge gained while working alongside experienced Crew Leaders

Maintain a clean, neat, and safe jobsite as defined by Cross Creek Nursery and Landscaping standards

•

Treat customers in a polite, friendly and respectful manner and will never ignore them

•

•

Observe and comply with all safety practices and report unsafe practices to a project supervisor

•

Maintain the confidentiality of client and company information

•

Maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance defined by Cross Creek Nursery and Landscaping standards

•

•

Has a great, positive attitude.

•

Has a professional demeanor in dress, speech and personal conduct.

•

Will attain certification within 1 year of hire. (NALP-Installation, Spray tech, Certified Horticulturist and other approved by Cross Creek)
