- Maintain and organize digital and physical land records, including Surface Use Agreements and Rights-of-Way.
- Verify, enter, and update agreement data in company systems (terms, payment obligations, expirations, option periods).
- Interpret and review land-related legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Track and monitor key deadlines, such as renewals and other time-sensitive obligations.
- Provide status reports and updates to the Land Manager as requested.
- Ensure compliance and data integrity across all land recordkeeping functions.
- Balance competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience in a related field).
- At least 1 year of relevant industry experience; oil & gas land administration experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and maintaining records.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

The Land Administration Technician will support the Land Department by maintaining accurate records of Surface Use Agreements, Rights-of-Way, and related land contracts. This role involves organizing both digital and physical files, entering and verifying key data, tracking critical deadlines, and preparing reports for management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior oil and gas experience is a plus but not required.
