San Joaquin Valley Homes, based in Visalia, California, is a fast-growing homebuilding company committed to delivering high-quality homes in the Central Valley.
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our dynamic team as a Land Development Contracts & Project Coordinator. This position will provide administrative and project management support for land development projects. This includes maintaining construction documents as well as updating schedules and budgets. This position is primarily an office position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Maintain and oversee the distribution of Land Development Project Plans – Ensure that all contractors and superintendents have the most up-to-date plan sets.
•Responsible for maintaining budgets and budgeting tools, this position will ensure that all transactions for each project are accurately recorded.
•Provide bid support and analysis.
•Report to the land development team regarding engineering progress and update schedules as needed. Track submittals and maintain the engineering schedule.
•Obtain Permits: Manage, monitor, and oversee the permit process for land development permits, including grading permits, block wall permits, and monument sign permits.
•Perform other assigned duties related to the administration of Land Development projects.
•Produce exhibits and other construction documents using Bluebeam and/or AutoCAD.
•Special Projects Coordinator.
Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
•Completed over 2 years of college and have been admitted into a construction-related program.
•More than 2 years of solid experience in construction project management or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Exposure to AutoCAD or comparable drafting software.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks without compromising work quality or meeting deadlines.
•Capability to review, analyze, and interpret information, as well as troubleshoot problems effectively.
•Ability to adapt to a changing workplace.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Interact with all levels of internal and external customers in a professional and supportive manner.
•Excellent organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and ability to spot errors and make necessary corrections.
Salary & Benefit Compensation:
The starting pay ranges from $21.64 to $26.45 hourly, dependent on experience, with an excellent benefit & Incentive package:
