- Assist with ongoing land operations and acquisition activities and strategies in the Land Department
- Prepare, maintain and process land related files
- Review ownership reports and title opinions
- Assist in preparing land contracts and documents to be transmitted to surface and royalty owners, industry partners and working interest owners
- Assist with questions related to division orders, asset sales, leasing and acquisitions
- Prepare transmittals, check requests, oil and gas leases, assignments, rights of way and other associated contracts
- Prepare and transmit proposal letters to partners on wells, workovers, completions, lease acquisitions
- Research internal and external inquiries regarding land and land-related questions
- Respond to company partner, royalty and surface owner inquiries
- Prepare plats and maps
- Review and update internal records and monitor monthly lease obligations, expirations and terminations
- Prepare presentations and spreadsheets for drilling program, special projects, and status reports
- Provide analysis of land contracts and leases
- Calculate working and net revenue interests
- Assist in resolving accounting issues as needed
- Microsoft Office, Quorum Land, Quorum Division Order, Drilling Info, IHS, ArcMap
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge base in oil and gas terminology and an understanding of inhouse land operations
- Skill set in land due diligence and lease and contract analysis
- Highly organized, self-starter, with attention to detail
