Laborer

GMS is actively hiring skilled laborers for our maintenance and fabrication shop located in Oakland, MD. We are considering candidates with all ranges of experience including entry level candidates. Ideally candidates will have experience working in a shop, construction, or maintenance setting. At minimum, candidates must have a good work ethic, reliable transportation, and a general mechanical inclination.

Successful candidates will work DAY shift, working mostly Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend. These positions will maintain 40-50 hours per week depending on the workload for the week. Successful candidates will also receive on-the-job training for maintenance related tasks such as welding, fabricating, and general maintenance.
