We are currently looking for a self-motivated and results-oriented Lab Technician/Warehouse to be the newest member of Domino and join our Humble team.
The Lab Technician will be responsible for operating testing equipment to detect defects in various tools and materials. Reporting to the Lab Lead, the Lab Technician will work closely with other skilled Lab Technicians in performing their inspections.
Other responsibilities will include consulting company and manufacturers’ manuals to determine tests/repair methods and maintenance procedures for instruments used for manufacturing and processing. The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to test, diagnose, troubleshoot and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Other responsibilities will include the planning and scheduling of work, maintenance of records for all materials used and the progress made on a job.

- Perform various Tests to ensure quality and/or detect defects using various testing methods in diverse settings that include all operating areas of site.
- Record and evaluate inspection results.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Will conduct inspections and interpret results to accept/reject parts.
- Required to interpret codes, standards, drawings, and other contractual documents that controls the test/repair method.
- Set up testing equipment.
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) approved testing methods.
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
- Organize and report test results.
- Encourage participation from operations, technical and maintenance in developing innovative solutions to problem.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports.
- Plan daily and long-term maintenance activities. This includes priority setting in consultation with operations, maintenance and technical input.
- Assist Shipping and Receiving as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Warehouse related duties including but not limited to preparing orders, driving forklift, pulling materials, packing boxes, label containers/boxes, inventory counts, container inspections etc.
- Entering received orders in the Business System.
- Pushing over orders to print packing slips
- Tracking shipments
- Picking, packaging and shipping any orders that are to be completed and shipped from the warehouse.
- Ensuring product that requires storage is placed in the appropriate area, including placing any product that is for stock onto the shelves in the proper bin location.
- Managing receiving issues such as contacting purchasing over shortages and overages, arranging delivery appointments, etc.
- Assisting with general cleaning of work environment.
- Participating in cycle/physical counts as required.
- Other duties as required.
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Experience on the highvoltage industry, preferred.
- Professional demeanor.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Valid forklift license .
- Ability to drive transport van.
- Ability to travel, as required.
- Efficient problem-solving skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

- Experience with customer service preferred.
