Job Description:

Lab Leads are responsible for assuring the Lab equipment and personnel are set up and trained to assure we meet our quality standards. They are to do this by leading by example with quality working practices.


Responsibilities:

Verifying equipment is set up properly
Verifying personnel is performing tasks properly
Communicating quality issues to quality supervisor and production
Help operators perform maintenance and spare part inventory
Review testing for accuracy daily
Cover personnel’s vacations or call offs.
Help with reports and steel claims
Other duties as required

Education:High School or equivalent

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using while numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, etc.
