Job Description: K-2 and 3-5 Classroom Teachers
Salary: Flat Salary of $74,000 for all certified classroom teachers , plus up to $7,000 in bonuses
Project Reflect, Inc is a non-profit organization, located in Madison, Tennessee. As an organization that’s rooted in Western values , our mission is to transform communities through education and policy reforms that are consistent with the vision of our founder, Sister Sandra Smithson.
As an organization, we provide mission critical services to elementary schools and communities . These services help students achieve grade level mastery in reading and the humanities while also developing the character to pursue their dreams and to become socially mobile.
We do this in the following ways: 1) We provide high-quality Pre-K programming aligned to kindergarten readiness standards 2) We provide after school tutoring that is aligned to the student’s individual needs and 3) ) We manage a small charter school that shares the same mission and goal, and are open to to expanding.
In 2025-2026, our elementary school, Smithson-Craighead Academy , founded in 2003, will undergo a model change that focuses on academic gap prevention in grades K-2 and Middle School Readiness in grades 3-5.
To accommodate this change, the school will be moving to a Co-principal model: A Co-Principal of K-2 and a Co-principal of 3-5 . Each principal will be responsible for leading a team of educators and up to 180 students to a particular end goal:
•K-2 : 3rd Grade Readiness– Gap Prevention
•3-5l: Middle School Readiness
Our aim is to manage small schools of more leaders, and fewer managers, where teachers work closely with the Co-Principals directly.
