Junior Asset Manager - Thermal

Overview: This position is located in Hay River, NT.

This is role is intended to function as a Junior Asset Manager, Thermal, meeting specific qualifications and timebound developmental role needs to make the transition to a fully functional Thermal Asset Manager. Reporting to the Director, Energy North Operations, as an expert in the Corporation’s thermal assets, the Jr Thermal Asset Manager is a primary driver in improving system reliability and developing cost effective maintenance solutions within the Energy North operating division. An asset manager is active in identifying, inventorying, monitoring, and analyzing each asset through its full life cycle. Responsibilities:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years experience in either design engineering or project management or a combination of both and must have at least one year of supervisory experience in supervising, planning, coaching, development, and coordinating the work of others. Supervisory experience includes, but is not limited to, responsibility of hiring, directly assigning work to employees and assessing the performance of staff or contractors. Equivalencies may be considered.*

Salary for this position ranges from $71.54/hr to $89.43/hr. plus location and accommodation allowances of approximately $8,023 per annum.
