Hiring Range: $105,399.90-$119,453.22 Annually
Pay Range: $91,467-$142,755 Annually

•Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Planning, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
•Minimum 6 years of related work experience.

Position Summary
Asset Manager is responsible for supporting the ongoing implementation of asset management strategy across the organization in a way that is consistent with the strategic goals of the organization. Responsible for ensuring that systems and tools being developed and deployed across the organization align with asset management strategic priorities, and that areas seeking new systems or tools have reviewed their business processes utilizing continuous improvement practices. Provides coordination to ensure asset management improvement initiatives are implemented consistently across the organization. Facilitates development of data-driven metrics that provide actionable information to drive improvements to customer service and increased efficiency.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position may have formal supervisory responsibilities over other employees; may lead multiple project-oriented teams on asset management initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Lead and coordinate asset management support and planning activities across the organization. Refine the asset management strategy and evaluate current status, identify gaps and execute improvements to fully implement strategy.
•Convert conceptual asset management planning techniques and principles into development and program implementation.
•Manage, facilitate and build consensus on long range technology direction and organization wide operational asset management strategy. Develop cost benefit information for various projects and provide guidance on specific asset management systems.
•Ensure prioritization and allocation of resources are in alignment with organizational strategic plan and asset management objectives.
•Conduct business and technical needs analysis, identify and prioritize resources, and manage implementation of new projects to effectively adapt and leverage changing technology to business needs.
•Conduct and direct technical studies of methods for improving cost effectiveness for capital and operational planning and provide recommendations for process and planning improvements.
•Prepare technical and oral reports regarding the performance of the assets and track the effectiveness of asset management strategies in improving cost and service level performance.
•Develop and coordinate interdisciplinary teams to conduct asset management process and operational studies.
•Maintain current knowledge regarding contemporary asset management principles, practices, procedures and technology within the water utility industry.
•Maintain effective working relationships with employees, the public, and other private and public sector organizations.
•Manage project scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder relations.

•O&M Asset Manager: Responsible for implementing and managing Denver Water’s physical asset portfolio and its database to ensure data-driven decision. Optimize maintenance activities in collaboration with O&M Maintenance Asset Manager as well as develop and implement efficient and effective asset and work management best practices across all O&M that are aligned with the Strategic Asset Management Plan and subsequent Asset Management Plans.
