Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of both residential and commercial plumbing practices, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
•
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
•
Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
•
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas needing maintenance.
•
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
•
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
•
Valid Journeyperson Plumber license or equivalent certification.
•
Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
•
Familiarity with remodeling projects is preferred; experience as a maintenance person is a plus.
•
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
•
Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately.
•
Commercial driving experience is beneficial for transporting tools and materials to job sites.
•
Proficiency in using power tools and performing welding tasks as needed.
