Journeyman Plumber

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

- Build and assemble plumbing systems according to specifications and plumbing codes

- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components

- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper placement of plumbing systems during new construction projects

- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, bend, thread, and connect pipes

- Perform inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide appropriate solutions

- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance

- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

- Proven experience in construction plumbing

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for plumbing tasks

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Experience with pipe threading techniques

- Valid journeyperson plumber license or certification preferred
