Purpose

The Red Chris Mobile Maintenance team is recruiting for the position of Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic with a competitive hourly rate of $55.14 and additional benefits. We are seeking an individual for a Fly-In, Fly-Out opportunity working on a two-weeks-in, two-weeks-out rotation.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Heavy-Duty Mechanic will perform maintenance repair duties within the Mobile Maintenance department team. They will safely perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks to optimize equipment availability and contribute to the performance of the Maintenance Team.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$55.14/hour and applicable overtime . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
