Job Title: Journeyman Plumber / Plumber’s Assistant

Location: Projects across Southern California (San Diego to Ventura County)

Compensation: $30–$35/hour based on experience

Employment Type: Full-time (No benefits currently; performance-based raises and bonuses

available)

About the Role:

King Stud Contracting is seeking a dependable and skilled Journeyman Plumber or experienced Plumber’s Assistant to work under the direction of a Master Plumber on commercial tenant improvement projects.

This is a hands-on position for someone with strong experience in commercial plumbing who is capable of completing work accurately, efficiently, and with minimal supervision. You'll assist in all aspects of the job — from layout to finish — while actively learning and growing within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

●Assist with full plumbing installations on commercial TI projects

●Read and understand plumbing plans and layouts

●Support with material take-offs and planning

●Install water, waste, and vent systems with direction from Master Plumber

●Help maintain project timelines and complete tasks efficiently

●Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

Required Qualifications:

●Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial plumbing

●Ability to:

○Read plans and follow direction

○Perform rough and finish plumbing tasks

○ Communicate clearly and work as part of a team

●Must have:

○Reliable transportation

○A personal set of hand tools

●

Willing to:

○Travel throughout Southern California

○Occasionally assist on out-of-state projects if needed

○Commit to a long-term position with potential for advancement
