Journeyman Lineman - A

Class A/Journeyman Lineman

Assist in the installation, rearrangement, maintenance, operation, and removal of distribution power lines. Drive and operate line trucks and other equipment. The following list set the basic duties required for our team.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks :

1) Open and close switches and install grounding devices to lines and equipment.

2) Climb poles and/or operate bucket to install or repair wires, arms, insulators or other hardware on poles.

3) Cover energized lines with rubber goods to facilitate safe handling of high-voltage lines without interrupting service.

4) Travel within current system to build or restore power.

5) Travel across the country to restore power to the people in need due to natural disaster.

6) Lifting heavy loads daily.

Requirements

- CDL

- Willing to learn and teach others on the job.

- Excellent communication

- Traveling across the U.S. to restore power at any given time.
