Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including commercial and industrial applications. This role requires expertise in building and renovating electrical installations, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and utilizing various power tools effectively. The Journeyperson Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining high safety standards while delivering quality workmanship.
Duties
•
Install, maintain, and repair solar systems in residential settings.
•
Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
•
Work with high voltage systems, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
•
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete renovation projects efficiently.
•
Interpret CAD designs to order proper materials and execute solar installations accurately.
•
Ensure compliance with NEC regulations during all electrical work performed.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as a Journeyman or similar role within the industry.
•
Strong knowledge of residential solar systems
•
Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters.
•
Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
