The Journeyman Electrician will install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and conveyor systems in Industrial Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas. In addition, this position will be familiar with installing power supply wiring and troubleshooting types of electrical components in Industrial settings.

What you will be Doing:

- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on small oil and gas construction projects such as well pads, compressor stations, and pump jacks

- Bend, thread, and install various types of conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC-coated) in accordance with project specifications and NEC standards

- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure safe and timely project execution

- Respond promptly to service calls and execute repairs or adjustments based on field conditions

- Participate in commissioning and startup of systems on smaller oil and gas construction projects

- Coordinate with procurement or material handling for field parts and supplies

- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure installations are performed to code and client standards

- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades in operating facilities

- Support the integration and wiring of PLCs and VFDs

- Install and terminate motor starters, control panels, transformers, lighting systems, and instrumentation devices

Your Skills and Qualifications:

- Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License is required

- Valid Driver’s license

- 5+ years’ experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as, Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas.

- Hands-on experience with small construction projects, including new well pad builds or facility upgrades

- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications

- Ability to work independently

- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems

- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications

- Bend and Install Rigid conduit

- Understanding of Instrumentation devices and completing terminations

- Motor terminations

- Preference will be given to those with experience calibrating and commissioning instruments

- Customer service skills

- Fluent in English - both written and spoken
