Dorsey has an opening for a Job Processor & Inventory Controller Specialist in Elba, Alabama.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Jobs Processor
•Create and manage job orders in the SYSPRO ERP, ensuring accurate and complete information is entered.
•Submit packing slips and proof of deliveries to designated personnel daily.
•Coordinate material issues for job orders, ensuring timely availability of required materials.
•Initiate material substitutions when needed and allocate labor to job orders.
•Accurately receipt completed job orders in SYSPRO, ensuring all information is correct.
•Familiarization with material substitutions within SYSPRO, understanding when and how to make appropriate substitutions.
•Monitoring production activities, either by production schedule or visual inspection, so corresponding jobs can be created and/or updated in the SYSPRO ERP in a timely manner.
•Maintain up-to-date inventory records in SYSPRO, accurately recording all material movements and adjustments.
•Complete Purchase Orders, verifying received materials against purchase orders and updating records accordingly.
•Other duties as assigned.
