Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

•

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

•

Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

•

Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas.

•

Assist with custodial tasks including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies.

•

Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.

•

Engage in porter duties as required, ensuring that all areas are tidy and organized.

•

Participate in industrial cleaning projects as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following established cleaning procedures.

Experience

•

Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred but not required.

•

Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.

•

Experience in commercial cleaning environments is advantageous.

•

Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance practices is beneficial.

•

Ability to perform residential painting tasks may be considered an asset.

•

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
