Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings.
Duties
•
Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain clean and sanitary conditions.
•
Execute floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
•
Conduct industrial cleaning activities in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
•
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring proper sanitation.
•
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting issues to management.
•
Carry out commercial cleaning duties in various environments, adapting to the specific needs of each location.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Experience
•
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
•
Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of different flooring types.
•
Experience in industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
•
Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is desirable.
•
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
•
Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
