Job Summary: Bingham & Taylor is seeking a skilled and proactive IT System Administrator to support and enhance our company’s IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing systems, including on-premises networks, cloud services, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cloud environments (particularly Azure), Microsoft 365, and networking. In addition to technical expertise, we value a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and cross-functional teamwork. This is a hands-on role with meaningful impact on day-to-day operations and long-term IT strategy.
· Manage and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs.
· Administer Windows servers for uptime, security, and performance.
· Oversee Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
· Manage Azure environments including VMs, storage, and security.
· Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
· Maintain network hardware: switches, routers, and access points.
· Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
· Enforce cybersecurity best practices (endpoint protection, access control, firewalls).
· Provide hands-on technical support to users across departments.
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3–5 years of system administration, networking, and server management experience.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services.
· Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
· Familiarity with networking protocols, firewalls, and advanced networking (VLANs, subnetting).
· Preferred experience with SQL/Oracle databases and ERP systems.
· Certifications such as Azure Administrator, CCNA, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
· Experience with cloud security, monitoring tools, and IAM is highly valued.
