Program Overview:
Sparus Holdings is seeking motivated and driven employees pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields. This position provides real-world experience working alongside a high-performance IT and Software Development team.
Position Title: IT Specialist (Intern)
Hourly Wage: $20.00/hour
Program Objective:
The primary goal of this position is to expose employees to the practical aspects of IT operations andsoftware development within a dynamic and efficient technical team. Employees will gain hands-onexperience and mentorship in a variety of areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
•Collaborating with the software development team on tasks ranging from front-end UI updates to back-end service integration.
•Assisting the System Administrator in the setup and configuration of turn-key services and systems.
•Performing hardware repairs on laptops and mobile devices.
•Drafting software documentation and technical guides.
•Designing and updating flowcharts and processing documentation for development workflows.
•Participating in scheduled IT maintenance and system updates.
•Supporting data entry, analysis, and report generation.
•Working with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and presentation tasks.
Technical Exposure:
Employees may work with a variety of modern tools and frameworks, including:
•DevExtreme, DevExtreme-Vue
•Other widely used development and IT tools
Schedule: Part-Time
Flexible part-time schedule per needs of the department.
Work Location: Remote
Education Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in one of the following (or a related field):
Experience Requirements:
No formal work experience required.
Preferred Experience:
Basic familiarity with IT tools, such as:
•Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
•Basic networking concepts
Desirable Skills:
•Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
•Willingness to learn and adapt
•Teamwork and attention to detail
