Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through rigorous testing and evaluation processes. You will work closely with development teams to identify issues, recommend improvements, and validate that our applications meet the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in mobile applications and various testing methodologies will be crucial in delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.

•

Perform manual and automated testing using tools such as Eclipse and Visual Studio to identify defects and ensure product quality.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional teams utilizing Scrum methodologies to facilitate agile development processes.

•

Utilize SVN and TFS for version control and project management, ensuring all changes are tracked effectively.

•

Conduct RESTful API testing to validate backend services and ensure seamless integration with front-end applications.

•

Document test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

•

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on testing processes and suggesting enhancements based on findings.

•

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile testing to enhance the QA process.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role, particularly with mobile applications.

•

Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

•

Familiarity with tools such as SVN, TFS, Eclipse, Visual Studio, and RESTful services is highly desirable.

•

Experience working within Scrum teams is a plus; ability to adapt to agile environments is essential.

•

Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to vaticinate potential issues before they arise.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; proactive in identifying problems and proposing solutions.
