Overview:
The IT Director, Americas is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all IT operations across North and Latin America. This role ensures the alignment of IT services with business objectives, drives operational excellence, and leads regional execution of global IT strategies. The IT Director will manage cross-functional IT teams, coordinate with global domain leads, and act as the primary IT interface for regional business leaders.
Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage all IT operations and projects delivery across the Americas, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and end-user services.
•Represent the Americas region in the global IT Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning and enterprise-wide initiatives.
•Act as the senior escalation point for IT issues in the region and ensure high service quality and business satisfaction.
•Collaborate with global IT domain leads (ERP, CRM, BI, Security, etc.) to ensure consistent delivery and governance.
•Take the global lead for functional topic Sales, Aftermarket, etc.
•Oversee regional IT budgets, resource planning, and vendor management.
•Support business expansion activities such as new site openings, M&A integrations, and legal entity setups.
•Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity within the regional IT team.
Minimum Requirements:
•10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including regional or global responsibilities.
•Be onsite at our Waukesha, WI and/or Welland, ON locations every 3rd week (on average).
•Willingness to travel across the Americas and occasionally to Europe.
•Proven track record in managing IT operations across multiple countries and time zones.
•Strong understanding of enterprise IT domains including infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity.
•Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
•Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level engagement.
•Fluent in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
