Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled
IT Delivery & Solution Support Analystto join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business processes, identify gaps and opportunities, and provide solutions to meet business requirements.
The IT Delivery & Solution Support Analyst will be responsible for delivering technical application and landscape support to the systems associated with Manufacturing and Engineering, within consistent standard business operating practices, executed in collaboration and conjunction with Motiva's 3rd party IT support models. This role will work closely with our Technical Excellence organization and support applications such as Hexagon's suite of Smart applications (Instrumentation, P&ID, Reference Data), SDx Projects and SDx Operations, and various niche desktop tools
The IT Delivery & Solution Support Analyst will play a critical role in identifying opportunities for process improvement, developing technology solutions that meet business requirements, and ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and will be action-oriented, with a high level of energy and a results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:
- Manage existing business process software portfolio and deploy new solutions to support business processes:
- Support and/or facilitate support of enterprise applications and infrastructure including server, database, cloud, interface, and ticket management.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in project planning, development, delivery, and testing activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Review available solutions, present options, and provide recommendations to business customers.
- Work with other IT teams to design and implement technology solutions that meet business requirements.
- Perform data analysis to support business decision-making and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and recommend innovative solutions to improve business operations.
- Foster strong collaborative environment with other IT groups and IT focused 3rd Parties:
- Collaborate with IT architects and security to ensure that solution designs are fit-for-purpose, efficient, and secure.
- Partner with Supply Chain Management to identify cost reduction/avoidance opportunities and manage software license renewals.
- Provide projected demand for IT services to IT service managers for planning purposes.
- Advocate IT policies, strategies, and practices, and appropriately and professionally represent Motiva and Motiva IT in all interactions with Motiva-external parties.
Experience and Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant technical experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in applying IT and technology solutions within mid to large-sized organizations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with external partners.
- Understanding of Network, Server, and Storage Systems.
- Understanding of application user management (e.g. Active Directory administration including Group Policy management).
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
