Now Hiring: Irrigation Technician
Join our dynamic and growing landscaping team as an Irrigation Technician, where your expertise will help shape and sustain beautiful outdoor environments. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems across a wide range of residential and commercial properties. Your technical skills will be essential in promoting water efficiency and supporting the long-term health and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
•Install, repair, and replace irrigation components including valves, pipes, sprinkler heads, and fittings
•Conduct routine system inspections to identify leaks, clogs, and other performance issues
•Diagnose and troubleshoot complex irrigation problems, including electrical and hydraulic malfunctions
•Program and calibrate irrigation controllers for optimal water usage
•Maintain accurate records of system inspections, maintenance work, and repairs performed
•Read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, and specifications
•Communicate professionally with clients to explain system functionality and address questions or concerns
Qualifications:
•Previous experience in an Irrigation Technician role or equivalent field experience
•In-depth knowledge of irrigation system types (drip, spray, rotor), components, and best practices
•Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
•Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
•Familiarity with irrigation tools, diagnostic equipment, and modern technologies
•Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills
•Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
•Authorization to work in the United States
