Irrigation Technician II

Job Summary:

Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician II with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining 2-wire irrigation systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining and repairing irrigation infrastructure throughout our communities. This position will start on August 1, 2025

What You'll Do:

Troubleshoot and repair multi-zone, two-wire, and wireless irrigation systems.

Program and maintain irrigation controllers, including internet-based central control systems.

Perform preventative maintenance and assist with large-scale repairs.

Coordinate with landscape contractors and Operations teams.

Lead and train Irrigation Technician I staff as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 3–4 years of experience in irrigation installation and repair.

Strong troubleshooting skills with 2-wire systems.

Knowledge of PVC piping (up to 6-inch), valves, and irrigation technology.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Valid Florida driver’s license required.

WORKING HOURS

Normal working hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm, 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.28 - $32.31 per hour
