Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of structural steel and metal components on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, as well as the ability to read blueprints and adhere to industry codes and standards.
You will be responsible for operating a company provided vehicle during your shift.
A clean driving record for a minimum of three years will be required for this role. Applicant will be subject to Motor Vehicle Record check before onboarding is completed. Company fuel card will also be provided.
Responsibilities
•Assemble and install metal structures and frameworks using various techniques.
•Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
•Utilize power tools, welding, and fastening components.
•Operate heavy machinery to lift and position materials.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
•Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements
•Proven experience in ironworking or a related field is preferred.
•Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding, as well as rigging.
•Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety standards.
•Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
•Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to ironwork.
•Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
