Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and fabrication of structural steel and metal components in various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
•Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
•Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welding, soldering, and machining techniques.
•Install steel beams, columns, and other structural components at construction sites.
•Operate forklifts and cranes safely to transport materials and equipment.
•Perform pipe threading as required for various installations.
•Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in all work performed.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
•Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Skills
•Proficiency in welding techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
•Experience with pipe threading, machining, and fabrication processes.
•Ability to operate forklifts and cranes effectively.
•Strong understanding of schematics and the ability to read technical drawings.
•Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on job sites.
