Invoicing Assistant

We are Rancho Tree Service, California’s Leading Utility Vegetation Management, Environmental and Arboriculture Experts. We are currently hiring across our California operations. This listing is for the position of INVOICING ASSISTANT with Rancho Tree Service in our San Bernardino, California office.

We owe our success to people and processes and the Invoicing Assistant provides vital support for both. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. This is an entry-level Invoicing position.

This person can have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers. The ability to learn quickly, prioritize, multitask, manage complex workflows, and meet changing deadlines and assignments is essential for the position.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

- Ensure ongoing support of all invoicing activities in the regional office

- Learn and develop invoicing knowledge, practices and processes for Utility partner

- Perform ongoing Invoicing tasks daily, ensuring accuracy in Invoice preparation

- Daily reporting of Invoices generated provided to Business Manager

- Be open to learning new tasks, procedures and processes to support regional office functions

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform general administrative tasks and assignments, progressively growing responsibilities in the regional office

- Work closely with Business Manager and current office staff to contribute to overall function of regional office

- Provide support to invoicing, billing, AR/AP or other financial functions within the regional office

- Be open to learning new skills, tasks and workflows associated with our Utility partner

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven success in fast-paced work environments

- Previous experience with Oracle ERP is preferred

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information

- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar field is preferred

- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Per California pay transparency laws, this is a full-time position that ranges from $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.
