INVESTMENT RECOVERY SPECIALIST (ZA5470)About The Position
The Investment Recovery Specialist is responsible for managing the divestment of surplus and end-of-useful life assets across Ameren to maximize economic return while adhering to the company's social, environmental and sustainability goals. This role involves planning recovery projects and programs, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders, and ensuring all performance objectives are met.Key responsibilities include:* Serve as subject matter expert for end-to-end Investment Recovery concepts and processes.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Business or Accounting. MBA, or other related graduate degree preferred. Five or more years of investment recovery, procurement or related experience required. Candidates with an advanced degree will be considered with three or more years of experience. Certification in the Investment Recovery area preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Thorough understanding of purchasing, accounts payable, work management and financial systems applications, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Demonstrated ability to design a request for proposal with proven ability to negotiate contracts and achieve results while effectively managing the associated change also required. Must have ability to influence supplier relationships and performance without formal authority. Must have ability to measure, analyze, and understand complex business issues. Thorough understanding of Ameren's systems applications (e.g., project accounting, accounts payable, EMPRV) preferred. Demonstrated ability to utilize the strategic sourcing process preferred. Basic understanding of contract terms and conditions preferred.
Compensation Range:
$86,400.00 - $133,900.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
