Internship - Business

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

General Description:

Venture Global is seeking highly motivated Business Interns to join our team in Houston, TX or Arlington, VA, supporting our LNG facilities in Louisiana. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing energy company, contributing to strategic initiatives and supporting cross-functional business operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Intern, you will be assigned tasks, including but not limited to:

- Participating in onboarding and training sessions to understand LNG markets and Venture Global's business model

- Assisting with financial analysis, budgeting, and cost modeling for ongoing projects

- Supporting market research to identify business development opportunities and emerging industry trends

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, operations, supply chain, HR, and commercial teams) to align business strategy with operations

- Helping develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and preparing executive-level reports

- Contributing to business planning, proposal writing, and internal presentations

- Attending meetings with internal stakeholders, partners, and vendors

- Supporting special projects across areas such as supply chain, human resources, procurement, and commercial strategy

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field

- Strong communication and analytical skills

- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

- Interest in the energy industry and a desire to learn about LNG

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Leadership experience through academics, clubs, or work experience is a plus

- Basic understanding of the energy sector is a plus

- 1–4 years of work or internship experience in a professional or corporate setting is a plus
