The Operational Technology Cyber Security Team works to secure all of ICS assets across Tallgrass Energy networks. To meet this objective the OT team must comply with all government and NIST standards to ensure safety and reliability are achieved.
- Monitor/configure operational technology threat detection platform
- Evaluate and mitigate vulnerabilities in environment
- Participate in hardware and software updates to remove vulnerabilities
- Troubleshoot basic cyber security issues out in the field
- Valuable experience working alongside other security professionals.
- Knowledge of operational technology cyber security
- Gain experience with the latest cybersecurity tactics to discover new cybersecurity threats
Student actively enrolled in a degreed program and attending classes related to Cyber Security with expected graduation date of December 2025- May 2028
- Proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications and platforms.

Knowledge of an Active Directory environment.
Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person/hybrid at our Lakewood office. We will host our Summer 2026 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
- $22.60-$30.14USD Hourly
