What You Can Expect

As our EHS Intern, at ENGIE’s Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP), you will be performing support work for the Manager of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) that includes development of procedures, assistance with projects and other tasks to assist the EHS Manager while using your exposure to MATEP to enhance your education in the EHS, facilities and power generation field. The internship work term will be June 2, 2025 – August 22, 2025The EHS Intern reports to the EHS Manager.

You will:

Work internally in the physical plant and externally on the facility’s grounds or at satellite facilities; you may be required to work overtime - relief, off-shift, and emergency coverage (nights, weekends,) and/or other, as needed

May require repetitive stooping, bending, climbing, reaching, and carrying, intermittent lifting

Compensation

Hourly Range: $24.50 - $25.50 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
