We are currently looking for an Intern- Engineering for our Houston, TX office.
Position Description
The engineer intern will provide engineering support on a variety of natural gas pipeline and meter projects to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of natural gas. This internship is designed to apply theoretical knowledge in a hands-on, supervised setting. You will work closely with a mentor and a team of engineers while contributing to meaningful projects and gaining valuable industry experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- Enrolled in an accredited engineering program pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- Strong skill level in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project
- Well organized with a high degree of initiative and motivation
- Ability to work positively and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Sound technical mindset to be able to review and understand engineering deliverables
- 3.0 GPA
- Mechanical or Civil Engineering track
- Prior internship or COOP experience
- Leadership position in school projects and/or extracurricular organizations
- Volunteer experience
- 3.5 GPA
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Must be a current Junior or Senior student
