What This Department Does
This department supports the Project Management team and plays a key role in bridging Commercial Development, Operations, and Project Management. The team is involved in project development and conceptualization, guiding initiatives from initial funding through to execution. This department offers a unique opportunity to learn about the industry from a broad perspective and gain valuable exposure to the industry by working on a variety of tasks across the company.
- Participate in projects such as optimizing engineering and information workflows, conducting data mining and fact-checking, and developing innovative approaches to improve efficiency in time-intensive tasks.
- Assist Project Managers with review of invoices and budgets
- Attend and prepare minutes of meetings and agendas
- Review inspection reports and progress
- Assist with schedule reviews
- Assist in the preparation and review of project plans and procedures
- Assist in document control
- Work with and learn from several different departments including: Engineering, Environmental, Right of Way, Field Operations, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Project development from conceptualization to execution
- Project management collaboration between PM, Commercial and Operations teams
Student actively enrolled in a degreed program and attending classes related to Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with expected graduation date of December 2025- May 2027
Experience/Specific Knowledge (what skills, classes, experience do they need to have)
- Proficient in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, Visual Basic, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
- The ability to take direction well, stay organized, and consistently meet work expectations.
- Adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities.

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston (or whichever location) office. We will host our Summer 2026 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
- $23.22-$31.01 USD Hourly
- The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include: paid time off; a housing stipend, and more.
- You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize housing costs
