(Full-Time) | Central and Northern Alberta (Future Team Lead)
Blue Chip MRC & Field Services is actively seeking a technical unicorn — someone equally comfortable with a multimeter and a laptop. This hybrid role bridges hands-on field work with compliance reporting, instrumentation, and regulatory engagement. You’ll support key regulatory programs like MSAPR, CSV, and Directive 84, while also helping us evolve how measurement and emissions compliance gets done.
We’re scaling rapidly and building a strong foundation of leadership from within. This role is positioned to grow into a team lead with financial upside tied to results — whether that’s through bonus structures or project-based performance incentives. If you're looking for a career path, not just a job, this could be the launch point.
· Perform field calibration, proving, and troubleshooting for measurement and instrumentation equipment
· Conduct CSV testing and support MSAPR field execution and documentation
· Assist with emissions surveys (LDAR, OGI camera use, fugitive capture, etc.)
· Maintain organized service records, sampling reports, and compliance logs
· Contribute to development and improvement of schematics, startup packages, and commissioning checklists
· Configure and troubleshoot monitoring and control systems via laptops or remote tools
· Collaborate with internal compliance and technical teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with AER regulations
· Identify operational inefficiencies and provide input to optimize client systems
· Support onboarding and mentorship of new field techs as team grows
· 3–5+ years of experience in oil & gas field operations, instrumentation, or compliance
· Comfortable working in both field environments and digital platforms (laptop/tablet-based systems, cloud reporting, etc.)
· Familiar with (or able to learn) CSV, MSAPR, Directive 84, and AER compliance frameworks
· Strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of independent problem-solving
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
· Interested in growing into leadership — managing people, projects, or processes
· A collaborative, curious mindset with a desire to build something that lasts
· Opportunity to grow into a leadership role as we scale our environmental and measurement divisions
· Competitive compensation with performance-based financial upside (bonuses and lead premiums)
· Exposure to high-impact work across multiple regulatory disciplines and hands-on field technologies
· Be part of a nimble, values-driven team solving real problems for real producers
· Your work will directly contribute to the development of ComplianceShield — our AI-powered compliance platform launching in 2026
