We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instrumentation and control systems within an industrial setting. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and logic controllers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment.
Responsibilities
•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems in compliance with industry standards.
•Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
•Work with low voltage systems and ensure proper functionality of all electrical components.
•Collaborate with other technicians to perform industrial maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
•Fabricate components as needed to support system upgrades or repairs.
•Utilize AutoCAD for creating and modifying technical drawings related to instrumentation projects.
•Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all instrumentation equipment.
•Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on equipment.
Skills
•Proficiency in working with low voltage systems and understanding of electrical principles.
•Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
•Experience with logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings.
•Background in industrial maintenance practices, including troubleshooting techniques.
•Familiarity with CNC machinery operation or maintenance is a plus.
•Competence in using AutoCAD for drafting purposes related to instrumentation work.
•Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of quality.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
