Installer

Job Overview:

We are a locally owned, small contracting company that distributes and installs specialty building products. Products include skylights, flag poles, gym equipment, canopies, partition doors, and more. Currently seeking an experienced installer to work as part of our field crew who will be responsible for the set-up and installation of various components and systems in commercial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires heavy lifting and the use of both hand and power tools. You will be working outside in a commercial construction setting 70%-80% of the time. As a small company we are able to offer you paid breaks and lunches, a closer-knit informal working environment working with only 2-3 man crews, and the ability to gain broader experience and skills.

There can be some travel needed, not often, daily per diem is provided.

Responsibilities:

- Layout, build, and install products

- Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions

- Assemble parts as needed

- Follow construction drawings, schematics, and instructions

- Perform construction painting and touch-ups as required

- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Ensure safe work practices and comply with safety policies

Requirements:

- Must not be afraid of heights

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read and follow instruction manuals

- Valid driver's license and REAL ID

- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

- Use of forklift, scissor lift, and scaffolding

- Open to direct instruction

- Punctual and dependable

- Ability to work without supervision
