Inside Sales Specialist

Job Description:

Greenstone Slate Company Inc., North America’s premier manufacturer and supplier of natural slate roofing and siding products is seeking a full time Inside Sales Specialist for their location in Poultney VT. The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Specialist is to proactively support sales through customer interactions, lead follow-up, data analysis, and quote creation. This role is a key member of the Sales Team, conducting regular analysis to support pipeline initiatives and identifying opportunities for sales growth. The Inside Sales Specialist will regularly participate in reconciliation with customers and the senior sales team to assist in the procurement of orders. Additionally, this position will help create marketing content and generate reports to assist in strategy development to achieve territory sales goals.

Responsibilities

· Identifies sales opportunities.

· Recommends solutions based on analysis.

· Engages in pipeline management with other members of the sales team.

· Creates presentations and provides insights into assisting senior sales team in strategic decisions, identifying growth opportunities and key areas for implementing sales strategies.

· Participates in lead reconciliation.

· Calculates updated forecasts gathered from current quotes.

· Assists in the development and maintenance of CRM data.

· Provides general support for events such as trade shows, group events, and other sales meetings as needed.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

· 1 – 3 years of experience in a sales or sales support role (preferably in the building materials sector)

· Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suites, and CRM software
