Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east. The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County. PCWA is seeking energetic, service-oriented individuals to join its Information Technology team to provide a wide variety of computer hardware and software support. Our ideal candidate for this highly desirable career opportunity will possess three to five years of related experience involving the operation of midrange and/or personal computers, and related education and training. Equivalent to an Associate’s degree in computer science is highly desirable.
This classification is responsible for a variety of tasks within the Information Technologies department. The temporary vacancy for this recruitment is expected to primarily be focused in the following areas:
