Industrial Painter

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial and construction painting, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various products.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers as necessary.

- Operate airless paint spraying equipment and other painting tools to apply coatings effectively.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of paint thickness.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment while handling materials and equipment.

- Collaborate with team members in the fabrication and assembly process to meet production goals.

- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.

- Perform basic maintenance on painting equipment and tools as needed.

- Assist with materials handling and warehouse tasks when required.

Skills

- Proficiency in industrial painting techniques, including airless paint spraying and auto body repair.

- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machining processes and lean manufacturing principles.

- Familiarity with welding processes is a plus, along with experience in construction painting.

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities accurately.

- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, along with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
