Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Painter to join our team. In this role, located in a dynamic manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to structural steel, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking as needed.

- Apply paint or coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers to achieve a smooth finish.

- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.

- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure optimal performance.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines effectively.

- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to improve processes and reduce waste.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role in a manufacturing setting.

- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment and processes.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks.

- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices is highly desirable.

- Ability to operate telehandler and forklifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
