Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial painting and be proficient in using various power tools and equipment. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As an Industrial Painter, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces and applying coatings to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.

- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently to apply paint and coatings.

- Follow specifications for color matching and application techniques.

- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards.

- Assist in the fabrication of components as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge.

- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Experience

- Proven experience in industrial painting or related fields such as auto painting or construction painting.

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities are essential.

- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Qualifications:

*Ability to perform all job responsibilities safely and follow safety guidelines.

*High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant manufacturing experience.

*Industrial coating experience preferred.

*Ability to stand for entire shift and walk throughout the facility.

*Must be able to repeatedly lift 10-20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

*Ability to perform basic math computations.

*Must be able to communicate effectively with others.

*Must be flexible with required working hours, including overtime.

*Must be team oriented with focus on quality and productivity
